Permanent Seed Brachytherapy is an internationally accepted treatment option for the management of patients with cancer. It can be used as the sole curative option, or in combination with external beam radiation and hormone treatment. Brachytherapy is used to treat cancers throughout the body.

 

Compared to External beam radiation therapy (EBRT), this involves high-energy x-ray beams generated by a machine that are directed at the tumor from outside the body. Brachytherapy involves placing a radioactive material directly inside or next to the tumor.
